Responsibilities

Interested in turning your academic knowledge into real-world engineering impact? As an Intern / Working Student (all genders) Software Development / Full-Stack Developer, you will support our development team in enhancing internal applications while gaining valuable insights into the digital infrastructure of a company that is making emission-free flight a reality.

What you'll be working on:
  • Enhancing and optimizing our internal web tools and applications
  • Developing backend functionality using Python and FastAPI
  • Implementing frontend solutions with Angular and React
  • Contributing to the design, development, and continuous improvement of software features
  • Collaborating with our development team throughout the entire software lifecycle, from planning and implementation to testing and code reviews
  • Supporting the automation and optimization of internal processes

Requirements

  • You are currently enrolled in an advanced Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • You have strong Python programming skills, including experience with object-oriented programming and full-stack development.
  • Ideally, you have already worked with FastAPI, React, or Angular.
  • You are familiar with Docker, GitHub Actions, REST APIs, and DevOps practices.
  • You work in a structured and independent manner and enjoy solving technical challenges.
  • You are based in the Stuttgart area (or willing to relocate) and can work on-site for at least 60% of your working time. Unfortunately, this role cannot be performed fully remotely.
  • You communicate confidently in English or German.
  • You are passionate about software development in a technical environment and are motivated to contribute to our vision of sustainable, emission-free aviation.
  • You are a team player with a proactive mindset and enjoy working in a dynamic and ambitious environment.
